I'm fishing a bit of a hard, head doer of a lake in the Nene valley at the moment that doesn't give up its residents freely and needed a couple of sessions on a couple of other lakes to get the old confidence back which worked a treat landing  four to 29.10 (A beautiful dark mirror) which would of been 30+ had I realised my scales were weighing short,oh well,and a couple off the top to 24.6.

With the rekindled confidence it was time to head back on to the hard lake to try my luck (With a new set of reubens) I managed to land a 30lb common.
Then the following weekend I landed a 34.02 common.

Both fish were landed on bottom bait rigs using the N-blend dumb bell hooker's tipped with a 10mm N-blend boile fished on longish hairs with around 80ish 10mm free offerings.

Needles to say I'm loving the 10mm's
